Attending the Society of Wetland Scientists 2025 Annual Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island
“I want to attend this conference to gain global perspectives on wetland science. I have not attended a conference of this scale, and I would like to learn from professionals from all regions of the world in various areas of wetland science. Thus far, I have only attended local or regional conferences, so my experiences have been limited in scope. Attending the SWS meeting would help me broaden my perspective and learn from people I would not otherwise get to meet. I hope to possibly present research at this conference, which would help me grow as a communicator and allow me to receive feedback from experts in the field. Additionally, this conference would be beneficial in helping me make connections with other scientists, which will be key as I start my career.”
